We have been learning about plant and animal cells in Science class lately. I was telling the class about my wonderfully dramatic peace lily plant - an excellent example of plant cells wilting when there is not enough water in the vacuole of the cell to press against the cell wall to help provide structure. I took a before and after picture of my little drama-llama plant to help illustrate this cell function:
