July 6 - Day 1

7/6/2015

We survived!  It was a whirlwind of a day filled with lots of information, which included an assembly and a Math assessment.

Students were handed out a four page safety package for parents to fill out completely and bring back to school tomorrow.  Please and thank you!

I reminded students to bring in a book to enjoy once they have finished assignments or come in from recess.  I plan on a few minutes each day for some silent reading to get everyone's minds back on the learning track after a fun time outside.

I also reminded students to please bring the supplies they will need for the next 14 session days (see post below).

It is very important that students arrive on time and for all the session days in order to get the most out of this experience.  We will 'hit the ground running' with Math each day starting at 9:00am.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

All the best,
Ms. Handel

Please make sure to give me your child's name when contacting me.  Thank you!
