We have been learning all about the federal, provincial, and local government the last week while we gear up for the provincial election on May 9th.  We have already discussed:
  • Government and Democracy (the different types of government that exist and what kind we have in Canada)
  • Rights and Responsibilities in a Democracy
  • Governments in Canada (the different levels and responsibilities at each level of the government)

We will be continuing on with the provincial elections Monday by looking at the candidates who are running.  If you want to preview the people who could be running the province after May 9th, you can do so here:

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
